Maybe sometimes it matters less about what happened, and more about the aftermath of how we deal with it. On bad days, do you lock yourself in your room and refuse to eat? Or after a good cry, do you pick yourself back up and say no, I’m better than this. I’m worth more, and I’m upset by this so much because of the self respect I have for myself.
It’s alright to have a meltdown, and it’s okay to not be okay. Nobody is happy all the time, we’ve all got our weak points.
Just make sure you don’t stay there. Wipe your tears and keep pushing forward. I promise, it gets better. You will be okay. We all will.
